FMS Care is a 4-channel magnetic stimulator used for a wide range of therapeutic purposes such as Rehabilitation, urogynecology, sports rehabilitation, neuro-physiotherapy, geriatric disorders, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, incontinence, reproductive system disorders, pain relief, and more. It stimulates and strengthens weakened muscles by delivering pulses of magnetic fields. The device comes with different-sized handheld applicators and can be attached to a mechanical arm or fastened to the body with rubber straps for hands-free application.
The therapy is non-invasive and painless, requiring no special preparation. Patients simply sit in a chair during the treatment, and the exact area of stimulation can be adjusted by changing the position of the applicator in the chair’s backrest. The rapid changes in magnetic field intensity induce an electrical current in neurons through electromagnetic induction, leading to muscle contractions.
Thermal imaging can be used to visualize the effects of FMS therapy, showing improvements in blood circulation, vasodilation, and increased metabolism.
