Curapuls 970

Description

The Curapuls 970 is a medical device that provides both continuous and pulsed shortwave therapy with adjustable intensity of up to 400 watts and a maximum pulsed peak power of 1000 watts. It can create an electrical field with disc or rubber electrodes and a magnetic field with the Circuplode or Flexiplode. The treatment planes of the Flexiplode can be adjusted to fit the body part being treated. The device has a wide range of capacitive electrodes and is particularly suited for the treatment of deeper-lying tissues using induction electrodes.
The continuous shortwave therapy increases circulation and stimulates metabolism, while the pulsed mode can stimulate wound healing, reduce pain, and promote absorption of edema and hematoma. The device has a conveniently arranged display and four large wheels for easy movement within a practice, with two of them being lockable. The large surface of the Flexiplode allows for the treatment of larger body parts in one application. Overall, the Curapuls 970 provides a versatile option for shortwave therapy with a range of adjustable settings and electrode options.
