G-EOs – End-Effector Robotic Gait Trainer
G-EOs is an advanced end-effector robotic gait trainer designed to support intensive, task-specific gait rehabilitation for patients with neurological and mobility-related conditions. The system enables therapists to progressively train essential components of physiological gait, including stance and swing phases, cadence, step and stride length, weight shifting, single-limb support, foot clearance and gait symmetry.
The G-EOs provides a wide range of functional gait activities, including forward and backward level walking, uphill and downhill slope walking, and stair ascent and descent. Its Partial Gait Movement function allows therapists to isolate and repeatedly train specific phases of the gait cycle, making it suitable for targeted gait and pre-gait rehabilitation.
With passive, active and active-assistive training modes, therapy can be adapted to the patient’s functional ability and individual rehabilitation goals. The end-effector principle initiates movement at the feet while providing greater freedom around the hips and trunk, encouraging active participation, postural control and more natural gait mechanics.
The system incorporates advanced footplate pressure sensors that provide real-time feedback on force application and movement initiation. Personalised patient profiles allow therapy data to be stored and progress to be monitored across sessions.
G-EOs also offers extensive therapy customisation, including adjustable step length and height, cadence, ankle dorsiflexion and plantarflexion, pelvic guidance, vertical and forward displacement, electrically height-adjustable support handles and dynamic motorised body-weight support of up to 200 kg.
With its programmable multi-axis robotic movement control and broad range of gait training functions, G-EOs provides therapists with a flexible platform for performance-oriented lower-limb rehabilitation and progressive gait training.
