Pluto® is available as a sports and as a medical treadmill class IIb. As a medical device, it is particularly suitable for use in the fields of cardiology, neurology, cardiac rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The interface of the h/p/cosmos Pluto® treadmill ergometer allows connection to ECG, ergospirometry systems, blood pressure measuring devices and software programs via the coscom® protocol.

The treadmill-ergometer pluto® is available as a sports treadmill as well as a medical device, with or without User-Terminal. Differences between sports and medical device (modell pluto, art. no: cos30026va01): safety systems, classification; no medical device; no classification as a medical device. Optionally available at extra charge are special frame colours, other handrail designs, special voltage supply and other options and accessories. Please consider the natural and physical performance limitations of the single phase 230 volt power supply. The single phase 230 volt power supply is sufficient up to normal fitness or therapy applications. For all special high performance applications (speed running, controlled jump-ons, sidesteps, heavy subjects at higher speed, extreme elevations, etc.), we recommended models with a 3-phase, 3×400 volt power supply (for example model h/p/ cosmos quasar med 3p, pulsar 3p, venus or saturn).

The handrails are adjustable. The safety arch prevents children from falling on the treadmill. Automatic stop of the running belt in the moment a fall occurs. The chest belt secures the subject and prevents falling over to the front.

Our “Standard” system solution for gait training & rehabilitation consists of the pluto med treadmill with safety bar and the additional options robowalk expander and adjustable arm supports. The individually adjustable h/p/cosmos® arm supports provide support and safety during rehabilitation on the treadmill right from the start. You can use the robowalk expander system as resistance and gait correction training device.
